DongFeng XinJiang Automobile Co., Ltd. is a large-scale, second grade state owned enterprise, which is the research and development base of cross-country vehicle, heavy-duty vehicle, and special-purpose vehicle. The yearly throughput of various heavy-duty vehicles, special-purpose vehicles are up to 4000, and that of cross-country vehicles are 500. The assets of our company are more than 400 million Yuan with total sales of 800 million Yuan per year.

Rely on DongFeng Corporation; with support and help of various circles, and many years of technical investment and reform, the ability of production development, quality control and technology guarantee system of our company had been greatly strengthened in recent years. Approved by Dong Feng Automobile Research Institute, the company set up Dong Feng Automobile Research Institute XinJiang Branch and XinJiang Desert-used Vehicle Research Institute. The technical center of our company is an autonomous region level science and research organization.

Our company owns a series of advanced equipments such as computer graph station, large-scale digital control drilling machine, 3500T oil press, 1000T bending machine and over ten specialization product lines. With all of these, our company has the ability to develop new products. After successful development of 4 tons go-anywhere vehicle in middle eighties, which filled the gaps in this fields of the state, Xinjiang Automobile company has developed 6×2, 6×4 series of heavy-duty vehicle in 1998 successfully, which was called XinJiang Red, XinJiang King by its customers. After 2000, Xinjiang Automobile company has developed go-anywhere vehicles of 2t, 2.5t, 6t, 8t, 10t and 8×4 series of heavy-duty vehicles. Through rational adjustment, Xinjiang Automobile company has produced its own product structure, that is, to take 6×2, 6×4 as main products of heavy-duty vehicle series, 4t go-anywhere vehicle as main products of go-anywhere vehicle series, and special-purpose vehicle as main products of refitted vehicle series. Now our enterprise owns multinomial patent technology.

XinJiang Automobile Company has quite strong products quality control system, it has passed ISO9001-2000 certificate issued by National Machinery Industrial Quality Attestation Center in 2001, and successfully passed reexamine in 2002. The products of Xinjiang Automobile Co. has been awarded many prize: DongFeng EQ2060E, EQ2110G go-anywhere vehicles has been listed into national high-tech torch plan and key technical plan of the eighth five-year-plan, acquired second prize of science and technology progress prize issued by original China Automobile Co., and third prize of national science and technology progress prize. EQ1241G 6×2, EQ1211 6×4 series of heavy-duty vehicles granted the title of state-level new products and been listed into national torch plan. In 2001, the heavy-duty vehicle has been awarded as famous brand product of autonomous region; in 2002, Xinjiang Automobile company was selected as autonomous region high & new tech enterprise. EQ1241G 6×2, EQ1211 6×4 series of heavy-duty vehicles have been titled as high & new tech products. Besides, the products have been listed into sales & service net of DongFeng Automobile Company since 1999, this guarantee the perfect after-sale service of the products. In 2001, Xinjiang Automobile Co. has been chosen as outstanding contribution enterprise; and has been awarded the prize of develop and construct border area.

In May 2002, Xinjiang Automobile Company has successfully reformed to limited corporation, change its name to DongFeng Xinjiang Automobile Co., Ltd. From then on, Xinjiang Automobile Company has entered a new historical development period.
